Shocking news… I love the Moon.
Okay, sarcasm aside, the symbolism of the Moon both in our physical reality as well as in tarot has been tremendously transformative in my life, leading to many important decisions and initiatives. I mean, my brand is called Living LUNA for Pete’s sake. 😂
The spiritual component of life, associated with the symbolism of the Moon, is often ignored over the more action oriented and physical aspects more associated with the Sun.
I was born during a waxing crescent when the Moon was only about 12% full. I find myself finding immense clarity during this particular time in our moon phases which landed a few days ago. During that time, I attuned into my needs for a sustainable, soul-lead business and what will bring true value to the Sacred Moon Circle. I began to see the vision more clearly and how it could be a win-win for everyone involved, including me!
During this waxing crescent phase and after the incredible New Moon Solar Eclipse, I’ve completed the back end for the membership and gotten the full site up and running. It feels so good! Woooo!
So yes! I am so here for the Moon in Tarot exploration today as I so excited to be bringing my intuition into my work more fully!
How have been you been tuning into your intuition these past few days?
Symbolism and Meaning
Only in being open to the uncertain, looking into our desires, and exploring our more mutable lunar sides of Self, can we live a well rounded and fully aware life.
The Moon tarot card is a powerful symbol of the unconscious mind and the shadow self. It invites us to confront our fears and anxieties, to explore the depths of our psyche, and to cultivate our intuition.
The Moon card usually depicts a full moon shining over a landscape of water and mountains. In the foreground, there are two dogs howling at the moon, while a crayfish emerges from the water. The Moon itself is often seen as a symbol of intuition and the unconscious, while the dogs and the crayfish represent the dualities of the psyche. The dogs symbolize the conscious and the unconscious, the light and the dark, while the crayfish represents the cyclical nature of life, death, and rebirth.
The Moon card is often associated with the astrological sign of Pisces, which is ruled by Neptune. Pisces is known for its intuitive and spiritual nature, and its ability to tap into the unconscious mind. Similarly, the Moon card invites us to explore the depths of our psyche and to confront our fears and anxieties.
Remember, the Moon card may represent the unknown and the mysterious, but it also holds great potential for growth and transformation. Embrace the journey and trust in the guidance of your inner voice.
Affirmation: “I find clarity in the midst of uncertainty through trusting my inner wisdom.”
